365 Project : May 17th - May 23th

May 21st : I'm sending my computer in for repairs.. I'll likely be unable to post anything for a few weeks. How will I deal with no internet? Your guess is as good as mine..

May 20th : I was all up in this re-edit when photoshop decided to just destroy itself during the save process...so I had to start it all again. Good learning experience right? Holler (if anyone is out there) about this edit.

May 19th : I got a flash! Yay. It is awesome tastic. I'll be posting a shot of Johnny, straight from the camera.

May 18th : I decided to have a go at this shot (as candid and shitty as it might be) with a black and white conversion. I know the halos are distracting but, to be honest, I kind of like this super over-sharpened look. Are those pinstriped spandex shorts? Really?

May 17th : Well.. I've had to do work on my design program application sooooo...... I didn't do much shooting for the period of the next two weeks. Some of the dates are going to be ahead in time!!!! Like this one. Walk for Walker, take one.

365 Project : May 10th - May 16th

May 16th : Here's an eight image panorama of a cloudy day in Vancouver. Shots were taken at Spanish Banks beach. Treated with some HDR and a few other photoshop goodies.

May 15th : Tacky photo is tacky.

May 14th : Snookums' birthday! Here's Roland with Zoe. Bff4e4e.

May 13th : Well here is a nice shot of a guy who has no clue what he is doing with his pool cue. He clearly displays poor technique, captured by this photo. Sir, you will never live this down (apologies if I ever need you to do anything for me).

May 12th :  Moar running! Yay panning shots.

May 11th : Guess who's stoked about running?

May 10th :  Paddy placed third. Looks like the PW kid beat him.

365 Project : May 3rd - May 9th

May 9th : Well here's my brother, doing his thing. I think this was his 3000m cities qualification run. It's too bad about the highlights being blown, this could've been a pretty decent photo!

May 8th : Although I do enjoy this lens, it has been rather fickle as of late. Sometimes it'll give me a good 'ol Err 01 --- which means that I have to reconnect it to the camera. I've given the contacts a cleaning and hopefully the lens will stabilize and stop doing this annoying error code. Here was a test shot to make sure everything was working.

May 7th : Decided to bring out the 100mm-300mm f/4.5-5.6 USM lens, because I don't use it nearly enough. Planning on getting a 70-200 F4 L or F2.8 when I have the money (or maybe a 17-40). This lens, for the cheap price, isn't that bad!

May 6th : SUPER MACRO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! coming to theatres near you. This is a shot of the bottom ring on the watch, otherwise known as the "second" hand. The blur you see, is likely a scratch..

May 5th :  I realized exactly how scratched up my watch was, so I got my reverse ring and had at 'er.
Reverse Ringed, zoomed all the way out (at 55mm), ISO100.

May 4th :  After a skim sesh, as I was washing my boards off, all my stuff fell out of my backpack! I thought it looked cool so I snapped a flick. Little bit of curves adjustments for fun.

May 3rd : to another. (Cadboro Bay to Kitsilano Beach) A little bit of an HDR here, just to get the natural look.

365 Project : April 26th - May 2nd

May 2nd : From one beach..

May 1st : Going away kegger aftermath.. 0 pp.

April 30th :   We went to the beach! Scooty shot this flick, and I ran it through a quick pp.

April 29th :  This shot turned out kinda nice. This concludes the Hatley Castle Expedition. Two month turn around...not bad amirite?

April 28th : Blue.

April 27th : So, you going to show me the pic you got of that?

April 26th : Whoops..
